PINTURA na Capela do Carmelo de Nossa Senhora Rainha do Mundo em Patacão (Faro)

Quando um dia as irmãs do Carmelo de Faro tiveram conhecimento das pinturas da Igreja de Linda-a-Velha, procuraram contactar-me a fim de lhes pintar um mural na capela do Mosteiro. Pretendiam com isso homenagear o Ano Jubilar de 2000, tendo a pintura referências à Ressurreição de Jesus e aos Santos e Santas que em vida estiveram ligados à Ordem Carmelita.

PAINTING in the Chapel of Carmelo de Nª. Sra. Rainha do Mundo in Patacão (Faro)

The monks of the Carmelo of Faro had one day knowledge of the paintings that I carried through in the Linda-a-Velha Church and had looked for my contact, in order to paint a mural in the chapel of the Monastery. They intended with this to homage the Jubilee Year of 2000, having the painting references to the Resurrection of Jesus and the Saints that had still alive to the Carmelite Order.

Para as pinturas na Igreja de Queijas, foi-me pedido que fizesse uma pintura global que abrangesse a totalidade das paredes frontais à assembleia e que existisse um tema de acordo com a zona da igreja, (junto à pia baptismal está a pintura referente ao Baptismo de Jesus).Também nesta paróquia, o objectivo das pinturas e da Arte, é o de levar a mensagem cristã a todos os crentes e não crentes juntamente com a obra social conseguem convergir as pessoas para aquilo que a Igreja pretende, evangelizar.

For painting in the Church of Queijas, they asked me to made a global painting that enclosed the totality of the walls frontals to the assemblage and that the zone of the church existed a subject in accordance, (next to the baptismal sink is the referring painting to the Baptism de Jesus). Also in this parish, the objective of paintings and the Art, is to take the Christian message to all the believers and not believing together with the social workmanship they obtain to converge the people to what the Church intends, evangelize.

PINTURAS na Igreja de Nossa Senhora do Cabo em Linda-a-Velha (Oeiras)

Quando me fizeram a proposta para realizar as pinturas na Igreja de Linda-a-Velha, a preocupação principal era o de escrever (pintando) nas telas uma catequese tirada da Bíblia e da teologia, com Arte simples para que todos desde a criança ao adulto pudessem compreender a mensagem cristã, daí não fazer uma Obra de Arte numa vertente mais intelectual.
O aparecer das obras sociais e culturais nesta paróquia, foram feitas para dar seguimento ao que na história da igreja sempre foi feito tomando as artes plásticas, a música e as obras sociais (como valiosos instrumentos de evangelização) e de facto esse objectivo foi alcançado nesta paróquia que conseguiu levar a Boa Nova a crentes e não crentes mostrando a Igreja ao serviço de toda a gente sem excepção de pessoas.

PAINTINGS in the Church of Nª. Sra. do Cabo de Linda-a-Velha (Oeiras)

When they had made me the proposal to carry through paintings in the Linda-a-Velha Church, the main concern was to write (painting) in screens one catechism taken off of the Bible and the theology, with simple Art so that all since the child to the adult could understand the Christian message, from there not to make a Work of art in a more intellectual source. Appearing of the social and cultural workmanships in this parish, they had been made to give pursuing what in the history of the church always it was made taking the arts plastic, the social music and workmanships (as valuable instruments of evangelization) and of fact this objective was reached in this parish that obtained to take Good New the not believing believers and being shown to the Church to the service of all people without exception of people.

As pinturas realizadas na igreja de Pêro Pinheiro, são fruto de um trabalho conjunto e surgiu no seguimento de alguém ter visto um trabalho meu, onde havia uma pomba a sair de uma bola, cuja ideia foi adaptada ao que se pretendia, para essa igreja.
